On Friday, March 13th, RB’s production of Beauty and the Beast had its opening night. Walking in, I wasn’t sure what to expect. However, within the first ten minutes, I was completely floored! The costumes, set and props were more elaborate and movie-esq than I thought they were going to be.

Some characters that really stood out were freshman Dovas Lietuvninkas who played Lumiere, junior Nathan Smith who played the Beast, junior Galen Ryan who played Gaston and junior Zeyne Guzelderli who played Cogsworth.

Overall, I think the play was really well done. I loved all the costumes and music. The play seemed really well rehearsed and I could tell that everyone involved worked hard. Great job to everyone involved in the musical- it was delightful.
