This spring, RB will be presenting the musical “Beauty and the Beast.” The show will premiere on Thursday March 12th. Other shows will be on Friday March 13th and Saturday March 14th in the evening. The last show will be on Sunday March 15th in the afternoon.

The cast will be putting on a student production on Thursday March 12th during the school day for the elementary schools.

Junior Olivia Toriumi was cast as the lead role of Belle. “I’m really excited to be the lead,” commented Toriumi.

The cast rehearses everyday after school. “Practices are going well and the show is going to be great,” said Toriumi.

There are many set ideas for the show. The show normally features a few different sets. It has been hinted that there might be some very surprising effects that have never before been seen.

“This is going to be a very exciting show. The cast is big and talented. There is very beautiful music,” said director Diane Marelli.
