In response to Bradley Wilson's opinion piece "Why is busy work considered useful?":

I generally enjoy the opinion pieces and reading about what the kids are experiencing, the only thing I wish is that they would think twice before being so coy.  I know they are high schoolers with high school perspectives, but sometimes I cringe at the colloquial nature of their opinions and the certainty with which they speak.  I also realize that students sometimes forget that teachers have feelings too, but maybe they could be reminded that we are here for them and that for many of us teaching is our passion, not just our profession.
