For all you Harry Potter fans who went through intense psychotic depression after completing the seventh novel in the series, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, there is something to raise your spirits drastically. A new Harry Potter book will soon be on the market, titled The Tales of Beedle the Bard.
This new book is not an extension of the main Harry Potter story line, but a book within a book. For those who aren’t as familiar with the Harry Potter story, The Tales of Beedle the Bard is originally a children’s storybook in the final Harry Potter novel. In the book, Hermione Granger, a friend of Harry’s, receives the children’s book when Professor Dumbledore’s Will was released. The book is a fairly important part of the Harry Potter story because it is in that book that Harry, Ron and Hermione learn “The Tale of the Three Brothers”, which is where Harry learns a portion of the task that he needs to carry out in order to defeat the evil Lord Voldemort.
The Tales of Beedle the Bard is set for release on Thursday, December 4, 2008, so unfortunately, Harry Potter fans will have to wait a couple months for the wizarding world to be reopened once again.
