The end of the school year means many things for RB students. Locker cleanouts, graduation, and final exams are on the minds of many. However, the end of the year also signifies something much less obvious: picking the theme for next year’s homecoming.
On their last meeting of the school year, Wednesday, May 27th, Student Association voted on the theme for homecoming next year, which will fall on October 3rd. The group decided on “Blast From the Past” which will highlight past decades.
“The murals will look really cool. I’m really excited,” said Student Association President-Elect Kelly Sherman.
Due to the relatively late start next school year, there is a shortened amount of time between the beginning of the year and homecoming. This creates a problem for those planning the dance and week in general. However, Sherman is confident that Student Association will make it work.
“We can handle it,” she said.
