STORY HIGHLIGHTS
●Teacher shoutouts
●Clarion: a magical experience
●Go Badgers!

Walking into RB for the first time was an extremely overwhelming moment. I came here with a positive attitude towards high school and I leave with an optimistic one for college. I have changed a great deal since freshman year and I hope that that is evident to my fellow classmates and teachers.

First off, I want to say thank you to all of my teachers, my counselor and all the RB staff. You have made this transformation to college, an unforgettable one. I will never forget guessing Mr. Bonarigo’s age the first day of trig. Bono, you were a great sport about that! To Ms. Wilmot, I commend your unbelievably positive attitude. If it weren’t for you, I don’t think I could have become the person I am today. To the whole social studies department…you know you have the best senses of humor out of all the people I have ever met. Thank you for making each class enjoyable and interesting. To Boze, Gobble, Melquist and Denny, your crazily inappropriate comments and hilarious stories are what make RB what it is today. Without you guys I don’t know how I would have gotten through high school. Boze, your commercial was probably the funniest thing I have ever seen! (“C’mon guys we can do it!!”). As for Ms. Stiel, peace out!

Clarion has been an amazing experience for me. Evan and Lorenzo (even though you both have graduated, I know you are still reading the paper!) you are more than an inspiration to me. Lorenzo, you were the entertainment every single day, and I mean that in the best way possible. You lifted the spirits of the entire staff and you made Clarion exciting. Between the dance moves and Dear Marge about the elephant, I do not know which made me laugh harder. You’re an amazing person and I will never forget you. Evan, I could not be the Design Editor that I am today without you. You taught me everything I know and for that I am eternally grateful. Your Christmas cards bring tears to my eyes every time I read them. You truly are one of a kind and I can’t wait for our next lunch date or movie night. I will take our memories with me forever.

To the entire Clarion Staff, it has been an honor for me to work with you guys. We have had a blast over the past three years. Jette, the video you made was a masterpiece! Good luck next year. I know you will do an unbelievable job as Editor-in-Chief. To the new comers, you have got some giant shoes to fill and I know you will do your best to fill them. Don’t take Clarion for granted. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Mr. Mancoff…I really don’t have words to describe my gratitude for you. It has been a pleasure having you all four years. After freshman year, I could tell we would share a great relationship over the next three years. Clarion has been a magical experience and it was all made possible by you. Thank you for pushing us all, whether it was to reach deep inside of ourselves to create a memorable poem freshman year or  to stop playing addictinggames during Clarion. You are a wonderful teacher and mentor. You will be missed a great deal.

As for my friends, you are truly the best. I can’t imagine high school without you. I honestly believe there is no group of friends quite like ours. I know we will all stay close through college. I will miss each and every one of you. I wish you all the best and to Emily, GO BADGERS!

I want to finally thank my family. You have always been there to support me through everything. I love you guys!

It is time I finally say goodbye to RB. It has been an incredible four years and I will remember my experience here forever. Goodbye RB!
